Songwriters and publishers are paid royalties based on many factors, including state-of-the-art monitoring and computer database information, which makes SESAC so progressive. SESAC is the first and only performing rights organization to pay royalties on a monthly rather than quarterly basis.

In the role of Director of Writer/ Publisher Relations, Greggory Smith is responsible for signing new writers and publishers and providing service to existing writers and publishers in the Greater Atlanta area, while also overseeing the day-to-day operations in the SESAC's Atlanta office.

Before joining SESAC, Smith worked with Wayne Brady Inc., as an A&R Consultant. He also has experience as a Creative Director and other A&R and production positions at organizations like Fakework Management/Interscope Records, RedZone Entertainment and MES Management.
